Kyle Leeney, an alumnus of Lockport Township High School and resident of Lockport, had a big heart. He was outgoing and all around great.

Kyle passed away on November 7th, 2016. Kyle went to college at University of Iowa City, studying to be a mechanical engineer. He was loved by so many people and was an all-around loving person.

Kyle was always the life of the party and made a room light up with his smile and his personality. He was the kind of guy who would start a conversation with anyone he met. He cared for his friends and family.

“He definitely lived life to the fullest. Kyle was caring and unselfish. If he saw me walking to my cousin’s house, he would pick me up and take me there,” said Jami, a neighbor and a good friend of Kyle’s younger sister Ashley Leeney. These were just some of the memories they had with him.

Jami and Ashley would play outside with Kyle. He would push them on the swings and always make them laugh.

Kyle was just an all around fun guy. So many people cared and still care about him. He will be remembered as a caring, unselfish, wonderful guy. He will forever be in our hearts.
