The Lockport boys varsity basketball team played a hard game during the Porters versus Cancer game against Bolingbrook on February 3rd. With the final score being 49 to 55, the Bolingbrook Raiders took home the victory against the Porters. Although the Porters lost, they still played hard and didn’t call the game over until it was over.

“They were excited to participate”,  says Coach Hespell. “We showed a video to the freshman about this game, and they were excited about it.  This is our 5th year hosting this game. Many people came for the cause, and our pink t-shirts were sold out. I feel like we accomplished our goal since many people came out to support us. We’ve also partnered with St. Baldrick’s and have worked with Student Government, the girl’s basketball team, and student body to host this game.”
