Every year for homecoming week, Lockport hires BOOM entertainment to bring in a live DJ during lunch periods in both campuses to boost excitement before the dance. Throughout the past few years, there has never been participation like the school saw yesterday during the freshman lunches. On Tuesday, September 24, BOOM Entertainment came to Lockport Central during the student’s lunch periods and played popular and upbeat music. Unlike previous years, a majority of freshman students grouped up in a circle to not only sing, but to dance along to the music. The positive energy among the students ultimately put everyone who participated in a happier, more upbeat mood. This turn out excites both teachers and students for the dance on Saturday, September 28.
