In Manggis, Indonesia, villagers have been worrying if Mount Agung is going to erupt. Mount Agung is 9,944 feet high. Mount Agung is a stratovolcano, which is a volcano and that is created from numerous layers of lava. Mount Agung is an active volcano, which last erupted on November 26 of this year.

Villagers are urged to leave the evacuation zone immediately. Ngurah Rai airports have been reopened since Wednesday, November 29. That same day the volcano continued to release thick black smoke. Emergency workers have been alerting the community to leave the area.

Not only is Bali affected by the volcano, but the whole world will be affected if Mount Agung erupts. According to scientists, if Mount Agung erupts, it will affect global warming. The ash from the volcano will slow global warming because it will release a vast amount of sulfur dioxide into the stratosphere.

Unfortunately, many of the residents living in Bali do not know when they will be returning back to their homes.
