Caleb Andrea, an LTHS sophomore, returned for another year of performing his music at TWIRP, but he didn’t get there overnight. “When I was in fourth grade my dad had a friend whose son was starting to DJ so I would listen to him, from that point on, I wanted to be like him.”

Everyone starts somewhere, and for Caleb it was at Taft Middle School. “They invited me to DJ one of the dances and in my opinion it was one of the best.” Since then Caleb had the opportunity to DJ for basketball games and TWIRP.

Caleb talks about some of his biggest inspirations. “Some of my inspirations are Jimmy Jamz, DJ Tecknique, Mr. Shaw, DJ Trentino, and finally DJ Simone because I came across his music when I was in 8th grade, and I fell in love with it. The reason they play a big role in my success is because I have learned a lot from each one of them.” Caleb also adds, “My favorite gig was Winter Fest of 2018. It was my first real stage.”
