Patriots dominate the Super Bowl for the sixth time

The New England Patriots won the Super Bowl on February 3rd against the Los Angeles Rams. The final score was 13-3, which made Super Bowl LIII the lowest scoring Super Bowl ever recorded.
The Patriots were the first to score with a field goal in the second quarter of the game. In the third quarter, the Rams also scored the field goal. To finish the game, the Patriots scored a touchdown and a field goal to win the Super Bowl.
Julian Edelman, the Patriots wide receiver, was granted the MVP award. Edelman had a total of 10 passes and covered 141 yards in Super Bowl LIII. One of Edelman’s highlights was when a 13 yard pass was caught to help running back, Sony Michels, make the winning touchdown for the Patriots.
Tom Brady, New England’s quarterback, exclaimed how proud he was of all of his teammates and to achieve six Super Bowl titles. Brady announces, “I’m just so blessed to play with the best teammates through the years from our ’01 team and all the way through now. I love all those guys. That’s what makes this special, man. It’s a brotherhood. All these relationships are so important in my life, and I can’t cherish it enough.”
