Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor has died at age 96 on Thursday, September 8, 2022. She took control after her father, King George VI, died in 1952. She served England for 70 years, having 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Now, in her place, her oldest son, Prince Charles also known as the Prince of Whales, has taken the throne as King of England at age 73.
