Week 8 of Dancing with the Stars honored the amazing and tremendous life of the late Whitney Houston. We started off the night with a beautiful Viennese Waltz; however, their performance wasn’t enough and only earned them a 28/40. As the night went on, we saw many beautiful dances from our stars. One of the judge’s favorites was Xochitl and Val’s tango to Whitney Houston’s all time hit, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody”, which earned them a perfect score: a 40/40! After individual dances, there were team vs. team dance offs. Since Ariana and Pasha had the highest score on the leaderboard last week, they were safe from team dancing, but still had a possibility of being cut. Allyson, Barry, and Charity were our winners in the team dance offs and all earned an extra 3 points! Unfortunately, for Barry and Peta between the three extra points, and votes from both judges and fans, it was not enough.
