As I am sure many of you have heard, a new Harry Potter series will be released on Max in 2026. The series is said to have seven seasons, and each season will be dedicated to a different book. The series will span 10 years, similar to the already made movies. 

However, there have been mixed reactions from fans. It has only been 13 years since the last Harry Potter film was released. This is not a long time in the film industry. So some fans say that the timing isn’t quite right. Others say that a new series is unnecessary; a new series will just ruin the already great films. It is said that J.K Rowling will be involved in the series as an executive producer. I am personally very interested to see how the series will be produced. As a long time lover of the Harry Potter series, I am interested to see if the series will actually be more true to the novels. After seeing the films and reading the books, I can say that I was a little disappointed that the movies weren’t very true to the books. Some of the rumored cast is Toby Woolf as Harry Potter, Joshua Pickering as Ron Weasley, Adam Driver as Severus Snape, and Tom Felton as Lucius Malfoy. Personally, I am really excited about the possibility of Adam Driver as Severus Snape and Tom Felton as Lucius Malfoy. I feel that Adam Driver would fit the cold, cunning, sly character, as we have seen him portray a similar character in Star Wars. I also feel that Tom Felton would fit into the role of Lucius Malfoy perfectly, and it would be a great nod to his days playing Draco Malfoy. However, most of the information about this series is still under wraps, and we don’t know too much about the details. Despite all of the mixed reactions, I think that this series will be a fresh, fun, interesting take on the classic series we know and love.
