Welcome to our first installment of Lockport Food Reviews, where we give food reviews to local restaurants in the Lockport area.
Recently, we went and reviewed Stagecoach Eatery and Saloon, as the first installment of our series. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. There was a very unique mixture of new-age and old western, and the restaurant embraced an open-air environment. The service was also great, as we were able to seat ourselves, and all of our requests and orders were taken quickly. We had different orders from one another, and we all gave our opinions on our dishes.
Aaron Wendell:
I ordered the Cowboy Grilled Cheese, which came to the table in surprisingly quick fashion, which was especially surprising with how perfectly cooked the grilled cheese was along with the bacon in the sandwich. The bacon was meaty and sweet, and possessed more of a beef jerky taste rather than a traditional bacon taste. The fries were also crunchy and fluffy; however, they could have benefited from more seasoning. I felt the fried egg was unnecessary, however I thought the meal was still wonderful overall.
Overall: 8.8/10
Jack Lopresti:
I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. The service provided us with quick ordering times and quick turnout for the food. I loved the portions of food because it was very filling. The Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese was delicious and the string pull was scrumptious. Although it was delicious, there was excessive sauce at the bottom causing the noodles to become soggy and overwhelming. The overpowering taste came from the strong flavor of the excess sauce. The waffle fries were cooked to perfection and had an amazing crunch to them.

I ordered the Cavatappi Pasta In Pink Sauce, with added chicken and vegetables. Once seated, we were met with a server very quickly. They took our drink orders, as well as our food orders in short order. When the food arrived, they continued to impress me. My favorite part of the meal was the sauce, which was quite sweet but extremely flavorful. The optional add-ons of chicken and vegetables added extra flavors and textures to the pasta, and the garlic bread on the side was a great contrast to the main dish itself. All things considered, I was satisfied with this restaurant experience, and I would definitely return again. I would give Stagecoach Eatery and Saloon
