Fan favorites for snack bowls countrywide have been closed for good. Dot’s Homestyle Pretzels’ plant in Velva, North Dakota has been shut down two years after the company was bought by Hershey. The snack giant decided that the building and specificity needed to create the twists of perfection is too expensive; however, they announced that the 27 employees who will be affected by this closure have been offered to relocate to other Hershey manufacturing plants. The plant was officially closed Oct. 27, but luckily there are still bags available on the shelves.
