Lockport’s PE Department had their 6th Annual Triathlon. There were so many students, teachers, and even administrators who participated in the Triathlon. Superintendent, Dr. McBride even completed his second Triathlon!
This year’s event sounds were done by DJ BMILLA, also known as Brayden Miller who is a senior here at LTHS.
The special education students even got to run at the end of the track, completing the Triathlon for themselves! The students were so proud and the students in the stands were equally excited cheering them on in the stands!
Parents were welcomed this year to cheer on their kids who participated in the Triathlon, and some parents even made signs to hold up during the final stretch of their activity.
The PE teachers had tons of snacks and water for the participants, and had popsicles for 1-2 dollars for those in the stands. The PE teachers also had free shirts for the students that participated in the Triathlon!
The Triathlon is entirely free and an amazing experience for students and teachers! The Triathlon offers not only physical benefits, but it is great for one’s mental health as well. Students who participated at the Triathlon have described the experience as a great moment of pride and self-fulfillment.
A large thank you to the amazing PE teachers at LTHS for hosting the Triathlon and supporting the students! #PorterPride #TogetherWe Succeed #BestTogether
