Since the fall, the dancers at LTHS have worked tirelessly to put on one of the best shows at LTHS this school year, featuring over thirty dances, ranging from tap, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, and more. The performance atmosphere both nights was electric, and every dance kept the audience captivated. There were three special guests that paired with the Orchesis program for this year’s performance. Starting off the show with a Britney Spears themed dance from Advance Dance, followed by the interactive Step Team performance, and to finish off the guest portion was a Disney themed dance from the Best Buddies Program. 

When the guest dances were concluded, a mesmerizing tap performance kicked off the more than 30 dances choreographed and performed by students with some special appearances from one of their sponsors, Ms. Cannon. From the stunning costumes to the cultural enrichment brought by traditional Greek, Hispanic, and Palestinian dances, the almost three hour performance brought their audience on a journey. To break up some of the dances, guests were welcome to participate in a raffle, karaoke, and Just Dance. 

To conclude the night, dancers from each respective grade performed before finally honoring the seniors. Baby pictures were flashed on the stage to commemorate the hard work and dedication the seniors have provided for their last show. Without any of the dancers, sponsors, production crue, and supportive staff, the show would not have been as amazing as it was. The Lockport community is grateful for the robust hours spent preparing and executing two amazing and bewitching performances.
