Every year at the beginning of football season, The Lockport Porters Football Team has Maroon and White night! Maroon and White night is the week before the season where we bring out the jerseys and scrimmage against all of our teams. It’s a fun and exciting way to get parents, students, and companies involved in our school and football team! This year we had a truck that sold snow cones as well as concessions! During the day we had spirit day where all the students were welcome to participate by wearing maroon and white. Both students and teachers alike participated in spirit day! At 5 o’clock everybody was ready to bring on the new season of football as we watched the bleachers fill up with students and parents excited to see what the players brought to the field! Poms and the cheer team performed for us during halftime and timeouts and showed us their porter pride! Overall, Maroon and White night was fun, and a good community night for us all and we are excited to see what football season brings this year!
